The 16,000 Strong Committee is dedicated to educating, empowering, and uniting the Boston University community in the prevention of sexual assault and violence. The committee works to increase student awareness of sexual assault prevention resources and Boston University’s policies, while fostering a safer, healthier, and more supportive campus environment. In addition, it advises university administration on ways to strengthen and improve policies related to sexual assault and harassment, advocating for meaningful, student-centered change.
